A Little Bit of Everything

This week has been full of excitement, frustration, boredness, and everything in between.

Class is super boring. Sure, I'm doing well but it is still class. I got a 94.5 on the first test! Super excited about that one. But it's getting harder so I hope to still do well.

Yesterday was mine and Matt's eleven months so I cooked him dinner at my house :) I have to admit that it turned out a lot better than I thought it would. So thats definitely a plus. I love him so much!! :)

Frustration is work. Work blows. It is lame and I hate serving rude people who don't tip. If I didn't need the money, I wouldn't be working there. If you can't afford to tip 15-20% then don't go out at all. period.

First Day of Class

I woke up at 8 this morning for my class. Left the house at 9:30. Parked in the Bull Street Garage. Walked to the Russell House and paid $5 for a terrible breakfast (not doing that again until the fall when I have a meal plan...and Burger King is open). I finally got to class which started at 10:30. The teacher made a good first impression and she's already 100x better than my teacher last semester. I'll just go ahead and list out why she's already so much better...

1) She's American!
2) She can speak English...very well.
3) She can teach the material...very well.
4) She cares if we understand the material or not
5) She writes everything out on the board. No worries of trying to jot down notes while she's talking. And I do mean she writes down everything. Word...for Word.
6) She's pretty (I do have to stare at her for 2 hours and 15 minutes 4 days a week)
7) She went to Palmettos Girls State!! And, during that week she stayed in Patterson, where I lived last year. (thats back when they kept the girls at USC)
8) She gives us a 15 minute break about half way through the class.
9) She wears well supported bras...and shirts that fit. (If you saw my teacher for Math 122 last semester...you would understand)
10) She's just Ronda Sanders....

Incase you couldn't tell, it was a great first day. Minus the whole jumping right into the lesson and covering 2 sections. That was about...5-6 pages of notes already. Plus homework and a worksheet. Oh, we have a quiz tomorrow aready, too. But, chin up! This week is just review :) I need this class to stay in the Business School. There's no messin' around.

I've kinda become like Spongebob...as in I have a pet snail. Unfortunately, he doesn't "meow". His name is Larry and Matt named him that. He's a pretty interesting creature. My cousin just found me 4 more. They are tiny ones though. Larry is huge! It's kinda fun...

If anybody has talked to me, you know I've really been wanting a kitty. I haven't gotten one though because the fur messes with Matt's eyes really bad. I don't want him to be in pain anytime he's around me. Unless, I'm beating him up :) haha. Anyway. Apparently the only solution to this problem is for Matt to get lasik eye surgery. The fur only messes with his eyes really when he wears contacts. Otherwise, its not that bad. And he could take medicine (he realizes how much I really want a kitty...sweet boyfriend). So, if anybody would like to donate to the "Get Matt Lasik Surgery/Mercedes Gets a Kitty Fund" please feel free to do so! :) haha. Well, one of these days he will be getting that done and I will be getting my kitty! You might be thinking...just get one when you guys break up (my parents jokingly said it lol). Well, we're not breaking up. Ever. Infact, we are getting married. And I say this because I have given up getting a kitty. So, therefore we better get married because if not, I will be very upset. haha. :) And of course, I love him. And I do want to marry him some day.

I love vampires?

Oh...my...gosh!! I am so addicted to True Blood! Tonight was the premier of the 3rd episode for season 2. Next week, they aren't playing a new episode! Ugh, I'm so mad. They are letting the viewers "catch up" and True Blood "take a breather". Well, if the viewers really love the show, they wouldn't have missed an episode! Like me :) Haha. That's my theory.

Watching the show made my day so much better. Today has just been terrible. The reason being I worked all day. It was lame. I work all day tomorrow too. But, I'm hoping for a better day.

Goodness!

Ohh mann. My summer class starts in 2 weeks. I really don't want to go. But, I do have some things to look forward to! I am going to see Kid Rock and Lynard Skynard in Charlotte with my dad and Matt. I bought two tickets for me and my dad for his birthday/Father's Day present. Some other people from work are going to. However, I'm unsure if we'll like hang out or whatever...but still. Thennn a few days later, I'm supposed to be going to Carowinds with people from work. I'll be missing my class though. Hopefully, nothing is going on that day and it won't kill me to miss just one day. I really want to go!!

Well, I don't know what else to say. I'm just sitting here watching the E! True Hollywood Story of Criss Angel. Haha. I'm so lame. I don't have to work until Saturday. So, this will be the only thing I'm doing.

Oh, I do want a new cell phone. I kinda just got one a few months ago. But, after seeing Bryn's cool touch phone...I so want one. Not the exact same one as her...but something cool. I was content with mine until she got hers and I played around with it. Thanks Bryn :)

All Work and No Play

I am so tired of working. Its like taking over my life. I work 5 days a week and 2 of those days are doubles. I'm making pretty good money but still. I'll be happy when school starts back. But then a month later I'll be tired of that, too. haha. Thats just how it works.

I've been seeing Matt a good bit and I love it :) I usually don't see him that much so I love love love any time I can spend with him.

I also love seeing Bryn! Its nice to have a best friend to talk to and confide in. And I've learned that one is enough :)

SUMMERRRR :)

Yes! I have officially completed my first year of college! Well....sorta. I made a D in my Business Calculus class. That class sucked. It was terrible. My teacher was aweful. It's just one of those things that if you don't like the teacher, you usually don't do very well. Okay, that's not always true. I feel like it will be in college. I've had pretty good teachers all year except for her. And that's the class I didn't do well in. So, I'm retaking it over the summer. I'll work the first part of the summer then take the class in July. Still being able to work at nights. Luckily my dad said I didn't have to pay for it by myself. I would love to take it at Midlands because it would be a lot cheaper. However, I cannot get the grade forgiveness (basically wiping away my D) if I take it at Tech. That's a bummer.

I'm very excited to be free of school work. I will be working a ton though. Which reallllly stinks. I don't like tending to people's needs and feeling like their slaves. Okay, that was a little exaggeration. It still stinks though. Especially when the people are rude. I don't understand people sometimes. How can they be so rude to someone they don't even know? Someone who has nicely come up to them and asked how they are doing. Someone who is going to be dealing with their drinks and their food. That's right. Don't mess with people in the restaurant business! Haha just kidding. We don't actually mess with anything. But don't test us!!

At this point I'm just babbling. Isn't that what a blog is for though?
I can't wait to go to the beach! A break away from life. I like those :)

Happy Times?

It has definitely been a very long time since I've written on this thing. I guess an update is in order?

Marching band is over. Thank You! I was so tired of it towards the end. I was sort of mad that we went to a bowl game. More band. However, the trip was a lot of fun. Florida is always nice :) Unfortunately, it was over New Years. But, I got to spend it with Matt :) Yes, we are still dating. Going on 7 months. I'm very happy and very much in love with him!! Anyway...band is over! Well, now I'm doing University Band. It's okay. I get very bored as soon as I get there. We just had a concert so now we have new music. I don't like the new music. I'm ready for it to be over. I don't understand. I used to LOVE playing. Once Pace left...I started hating it. Oh well. I dont know what it is.

School is school. I have a stupid 8:00 class mwf. It stinks!! Again, I'm ready for it to be overrrr. I'm getting behind I feel like. I know I'm behind in Astronomy. But thats a self-paced class. I hope to catch up over Spring Break (which starts tomorrow, btw). I pretty much don't like any of my teachers. They all kinda suck.

Spring Break starts tomorrow! I'm excited. But I know I won't be after a few days. Only because I'll be working. But, wednesday-friday I'll be at the beach with Matt. So, I guess that's exciting. Wait...VERY EXCITING!! I plan on working doubles the rest of the week. So it will be a great break :)

I'm stressed. About....everything? I want to say when school gets out, it will be better. But I know it won't. I'll have to work my butt off again to help pay for school. Oh, I'm living at home next year. Because my parents wouldn't help me pay for an apartment. I wanted to live with Bryn so bad!! Ugh. They offered to either a)give me the game room (which doesnt' mean taking down all of the stupid baseball pics he has up...) or b)redecorate my room. I'm going to take b. I do NOT want a boy room!! This way, I can get my room all looking better. Hopefully, I can get whatever I want. Which includes a new bed. New decorations and stuff. It would be nice to have a bigger room. I hate how small my room is! It's lame. I can't believe I have to live at home....I'm quickly regretting this decision...

Anyway. I have to revise my paper and make up some homework for english. I've waited until midnight to start. Needless to say, I'll be up late tonight :) Good thing my 8:00 is cancelledddddd.
