An Update on Life

Its been a while since I've posted anything. First things first, moving into Patterson was an interesting experience. LIVING in Patterson is an interesting experience. The morning of move-in day, me and my dad walked up 9 flights of stairs. Needless to say, we couldnt breathe once we got into my room. Living with Julie has been amazing :) I'm very happy that the worst hasnt happened. And the worst would be we just couldnt live together and had to get new roommates. I keep hearing bad things about living with your best friend. But, I'm determined to make the best of it. Seriously, if both people are willing to compromise...I think it will end okay.

I will be honest and say that I am so sick and tired of all the drunk girls coming back after one in the morning. The other night, me and julie were talking at about 1:30am when somebody knocks at our door. She's all like "my roommates asleep" ..."can you undo my dress". She wasnt completely wasted...but we could tell she had been drinking. Not to mention the smell of alcohol as soon as I opened the door. That experience wasnt really that bad. Actually, kind of funny. She was really sweet. Not annoying at all, haha. However, the night Julie went home and stayed there...I was woken up at 3 in the morning by some girl trying to get into my room. The door was locked so she couldnt get in but she kept trying!! I finally got down off my bed and went to see who the heck it was. At first, I thought somebody was trying to break in or something. But, then I heard a girls voice. I couldnt really distinguish what she was saying. Something about "Julie and Elizabeth" and that she "needed them" ??? I'm still not sure. She was so GONE that I couldnt understand her slurred speech and she wouldnt listen to me when I was telling her she was at the wrong room. Not only would she not listen to me...she tried to tell me that I was wrong by saying "No! I need Julie and Elizabeth." THEN...she proceeds to PUSH my door open while I'm standing in front of it. Its cracked at this point just enough for me to stick my head out. But, she tries to push it open so she can come in. I'm having to push the door closed so she cant come in my room. oh my goodness. She was SO gone!! She had no clue what she was doing. That night I was so pissed off because all I wanted was to sleep! Not to get disturbed by some drunk chick. Its funny now though...lol. And then occasionally I run into some intoxicated girls on the elevator. Thats just annoying...but whatever.

Incase you haven't heard...or seen...I'm dating Matt. I'm very happy. So if you have any objections I really dont want to hear about it. Me and him are doing great :) And yes, he is the person I was talking about in my previous blog.

Marching band is going pretty well. Its a big difference than high school band. I hate setting drill though. Its a pain in the rear. I cant read the drill charts. So I just wait for kaitlyn to tell me where to stand, haha. The best part about the games so far (based off of one game, lol) is pregame. My heart is beating so fast because of the rush. Its great :) I love being a gamecock. I'm excited for 3 home games in a row this month. Then, I'm going to MISSISSIPPI!! yay :)

Well, thats my life as of now. Minus the whole...class and homework thing. Thats not important, right? hahaha. I wish.

yo!
drunk people can be annoying. i had a similar experience with some guy trying to come into my room. he wouldn't shut up.
it's always funny running into them when they're sober, b/c they act like it never happened (maybe they don't remember).

maybe you'll see me at the USC, Clemson game. i'm really excited, it's going to be crazy.
i really like college marching band, it seems so much more laid back and a lot less stressful....plus we have double the horns..hehe
